Homework

Homework will consist of these 3 areas everyweek, Reading, Spelling and Maths.  Some weeks there may be extra activities that will relate to your classroom work.

1. Read a book for between 15-20 minutes.
2. Record the book with any thoughts in your homework book.
3. See Miss Stewart when you need to update your Literature Circle Book.
4. OPTIONAL - Read and comment on classmate's Blogs

1. Work on the flash cards for your step.
2. Use the Maths Blog to help you practice on that step.
3. Get your family to test you.
4. See Miss Stewart when you are ready to move onto the next step.
5. Keep monitoring your basic facts on the progression sheet in your maths book.
6. Start working on the next step

1. Choose 5 words from you rocket list and 5 from your writing.
2. Write these into sentences, remembering presentation, punctuation and correct spelling of all words.
3. Buddy test on Friday.
